Making women’s health education the standard

Join a professional education platform dedicated to advancing women's health education through evidence-informed, applied learning.

Women’s health across sport and fitness has been treated as an afterthought, rather than embedded within professional education.

As expectations of fitness professionals evolve, education has not kept pace with the realities of working with female clients across life stages.

When coaches are
better educated,
women are better supported.

The EFA exists to make women’s health part of standard coaching practice, not an optional add-on. Coaches get structured education built from current research and recognised professional guidance, with a clear route into everyday coaching.

Understanding physiology and life-stage transitions matters, but only when that knowledge can be applied to the woman in front of you. Her history, goals, circumstances and what she wants from her training all shape what good coaching looks like. The EFA gives you the knowledge and judgement to make those decisions with greater clarity.

The gap between research and
EVERyDAY practice

Understanding female physiology, life-stage transitions and wider health considerations is only part of the picture. The real value comes from knowing how to apply it to your individual clients.

Her health history, goals, circumstances and lived experience are integral to the decisions you make as a coach.

The EFA helps you develop the knowledge, confidence and informed decision-making needed to interpret the evidence, consider the individual context and make coaching decisions that keep your client at the centre.
