Research-led women’s health education across the female lifespan ↴
Fitness professionals are expected to know more about women’s health than ever before.
With more research, guidance and opinion competing for attention, the challenge is knowing what is credible, relevant and what deserves your attention. The EFA is here to help you make sense of the information, understand where the evidence sits and how to apply it in your everyday practice.
Where the challenge often sits:
-

Working confidently across life stages
Understanding how different health and physiological considerations can influence training and the support you provide.
-

Translating current evidence into practice
Developing the skill of understanding research and professional guidance into decisions that make sense for the individual client. -

Evaluating the research and claims
Distinguishing credible evidence from trends, claims and oversimplification, and understanding what deserves your attention.
-

Scope of practice, boundaries & referral
Understanding the boundaries of your role, when to refer, and building a trusted network of professionals around you and your clients.
WHEN THE
INFORMATION IS FRAGMENTED,
SO IS THE PICTURE
Women’s health education is still often separated by topic and life stage, leaving you to piece together different courses, providers and perspectives and work out how it all connects.
The EFA brings together one progressive curriculum across the female lifespan, with one consistent approach and the flexibility to build a pathway that works for you.
Specialise in one area, build greater depth across your practice, or progress through the full EFA education pathway and develop your expertise across women’s health.

Develop a deeper, evidence-informed understanding of women’s health across key life stages

Communicate more effectively and professionally around women’s health topics

The EFA was founded by Danielle Frost, a women’s health educator and personal trainer with over eight years of experience across coaching, professional education, and curriculum development.
Before creating The EFA, Danielle developed and led women’s health education for fitness professionals, translating complex research and guidance into practical learning that coaches could apply in everyday practice.
That experience now shapes the EFA curriculum: education grounded in the realities of coaching women, not theory in isolation.
